Step By Step Instructions For Creating Your First Blog At Blogger.com

People have asked me this before: "I want to make money online, but I don't have money to invest in it right now. I know I can use blogs to sell , but I don't even know how to start a blog. Can you please help me?"

Not to worry. I will explain on how to set up your first blog here on blogger.com. But before you can get a blog you would need to create a free Google account. You can create your own gmail email address by registering here: http://www.gmail.com

Now that you have created your Google account we can start the process of setting up and creating your first free blogger blog.

1) Go to Blogger.com, login in with your new Google gmail account and choose "Create Your Blog Now" to create your blog.

2) Enter the name or title of your blog here. For example, if your blog is on "Weigh Loss", you may want to put "Weight Loss Tips For Losing and Maintaining Your Weight" here. Choose a "keyword-rich title" domain preferably or an easy to remember domain name to reflect your personality or brand. i.e. weightlosstips101.blogspot.com

** if your domain that you want it taken then try other variations of your original one to find one that is available***

3) Next, choose your template. There are various blogger templates available, so pick your favorite template here. Click "Preview Template" so you can see what your blog will look like. If you don't like your template, you can always change it later.

4) Congratulations you just created your first blog at blogger.com!

5) Now, it's time to write your first blog post... You can starting writing your content. If you have nothing to write, leave it, you can always come back again. Remember to "Preview" your post first before you "Publish" your blog".

Now that you have your own blog you can start posting to it with relevant information and add product reviews for affiliate offers you think your readers would like and put to use.

Remember when you create your blog post try to make it around 500 words. That way you can rewrite your own blog post and use that rewrite to submit to the top article directories with links pointing back to your blog. This way you can get traffic from the directories themselves as well as ranking in the search engines because of the backlinks your are getting from these articles.

I will write a post about article marketing with rewriting your blog posts soon and will add a link to that here. It will be a step by step process so it will be easy to follow and do.
